Consumer Code

The Consumer Code for Home Builders (the Code) makes the new-build home buying process fairer and more transparent for consumers, while helping the industry improve quality and customer service.

The Code sets mandatory requirements that home builders must meet in their marketing and selling of new homes and their after-sales customer service. Operating since 2010, it applies to most homes* covered by the UK’s main home warranty bodies NHBC, Premier Guarantee, LABC Warranty and Lockton Checkmate, and includes:

  1. an Independent Dispute Resolution Scheme
  2. an independently audited compliance regime
  3. the power to apply sanctions if builders do not comply with the Code
  4. an informative website and government-approved contact centre to aid consumers

The Code provides additional protection for home buyers from the moment you reserve your new-build home until two years after legal completion.

Deposit Unlock

95% mortgages at market lending rates

Enabling you to buy a new build home with just a 5% deposit

Available to first time buyers as well as existing home owners

Mortgage Subsidy

Receive £400 per calendar month paid towards your mortgage for twenty-four months when you buy a new Kebbell home, on homes up to a value of £500,000

Receive £500 per calendar month paid towards your mortgage for twenty-four months when you buy a new Kebbell home, on homes over a value of £500,000

Part Exchange

If you are keen to move into your new Kebbell home but have not sold your existing property, our Part Exchange Scheme may fit the bill. It works like this:

  1. We will instruct up to three local Estate Agents to value your home and then make you an offer, usually within seven days.
  2. Once you have accepted our offer, you can start the buying process for your new home with no worries about broken chains. We then market your property, and pay any estate agency fees.
  3. If all goes to plan you will soon be enjoying your new Kebbell home. We will even give you access to your previous home for seven days after your purchase so you can move in at your own pace.

This is a stress free and cost effective way to move house and live the lifestyle you always wanted.

Downsize Part Exchange

If you are looking to downsize but can’t face the stress of selling your existing home then our Downsize Part Exchange scheme could be just the thing to get you moving!

It works just like our Part Exchange scheme; except once we sell your old home to a third party, we will pay you the difference in the value of the two properties.

We take the stress out of downsizing, so you can concentrate on looking forward to a new lifestyle in your new Kebbell home.
