Kebbell Celebrates Clare Clarke’s Prestigious Silver Wolf Award
Kebbell is delighted to congratulate Clare Clarke on being awarded the highly prestigious Silver Wolf, the highest honour in UK Scouting.
The Silver Wolf is an exceptional accolade, personally awarded as the unrestricted gift of the Chief Scout. It recognises service of the most outstanding nature and is one of the rarest honours within the Scout movement.
Clare’s achievement is particularly remarkable. In 2026, she is the only recipient in Buckinghamshire and one of just 100 individuals across the UK to receive this distinguished award.
Recipients of the Silver Wolf are nominated by their peers, who submit a formal citation highlighting their contribution. Clare described this as a deeply moving experience, reflecting the respect and admiration she has earned through her dedication to Scouting. Typically awarded only after decades of commitment, the Silver Wolf recognises sustained, exceptional service.
Clare was presented with the award by Countess Howe, Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, at the Buckinghamshire Scouts Annual Dinner, in front of fellow volunteers and peers making the occasion even more special.
Everyone at Kebbell is incredibly proud of Clare’s achievement. Her commitment, leadership, and passion for supporting young people through Scouting exemplify the very best of community spirit.
Congratulations, Clare, on this outstanding and well-deserved recognition.
