Taylor, Joe and their family recently settled into their beautiful new home at Cornelian Fields on the Scarborough coastline, following in the footsteps of family members already enjoying life on the development. We caught up with them this week to chat about their homebuying journey, what they love most about their new surroundings, and why choosing Kebbell Homes felt like the perfect fit for their family.
What first attracted you to Cornelian Fields and made you choose Kebbell Homes for your move?
Having made the decision last year to relocate from Kent, we spent some time looking at the different areas of Scarborough, when we happened to come across Cornelian Fields following on from our brother and sister-in-law purchasing a new build on the development. We found the Levisham and instantly fell in love with the house design and the perfect plot for us as a family.
How has life changed for your family since moving into your new home in Scarborough?
With the help of the lovely sales advisor, Jayne Wilmot, we managed to secure our house in December after selling our family home in Kent. All of the spacious area surrounding Cornelian Fields as well as the beautiful designed development, we knew this was the right home for us to relocate too. Having a school close by was a massive bonus, as well as only being a short drive away from Cayton Bay and Scarborough town centre.
We have found that as a family, the move has been the best thing we’ve done. Life has changed for the better for all of us, and we are now excited to see the changes we are slowly making.
What are your favourite features in your new Kebbell home and why?
Along with having a beautiful three bedroom home, we have found that we have a spacious kitchen area to sit down as a family for dinners, leading out to a beautiful sized garden for the dog to run around alongside our little boy! Underfloor heating all throughout the downstairs makes it a lot more spacious with not having radiators to design rooms around for furniture purposes. A very spacious garage has come in very handy to store away all of those items you don’t need to have in the house, with easy access from the kitchen area!
I have to say the thing I love most about my house is definitely the master bedroom which features a dressing room area with a lot of walk in wardrobe space that leads into a beautiful designed en-suite picked with your own features! The choices for the bathrooms are just beautiful!
How have you found the buying journey and support from the Cornelian Fields team throughout the process?
Everyone at Cornelian Fields made the buying process very smooth, especially Jayne Wilmot who was always there at the end of the phone with any worries and concerns we had. Since moving into our forever home, the building team have been on hand to help out with what we’ve needed help with.
What would you say to other families considering a move to Cornelian Fields?
We would recommend any families looking to move into Cornelian Fields to do it! You will love the area just like we do. Nothing is too much for the team! You will fall in love with the development instantly.
