Q1 Which room in the house do you think is the most important and why?
Let assume it’s open plan living- then I get to choose two rooms. The kitchen and living space. It’s a space that is used 99% of the time, to enjoy with friends and family. It's the only room in the house that has to cater to over 4 functions. Eating, entertaining, relaxing and often work. It demands the most attention when it comes to design, so that it blends perfectly into your lifestyle.
Q2 Which part of a new home do you most enjoy designing and why?
A downstairs loo or a children’s bedroom. Both rooms bring so much joy to everyone. A little cloakroom is often an opportunity for some over the top flair whilst a little children room is an opportunity to revisit your childhood dreams.
Q3 Thinking of Kebbell’s 2024 developments, which has been the most exciting one to work on?
It is a tie between our newest development in East Meon and Cholbury Place in Ascot. Cholbury Place has demanded an extraordinary amount of work from our team. I think the homes are going to look magnificent.
Q4 What’s it like working with your older brother and father?
I’m honoured to have the opportunity. Nick is a great role model; I'm very grateful for his time and patience.
Q5 Who has the last word when there’s a disagreement?
I encourage disagreements, I think thoughtful discussions are really important. I love hearing different opinions, even if they are wrong…
